HGK Air Transport Association: sector update discussion

In Pula, on 20 March 2026, the 7th meeting of the Air Transport Association of the Croatian Chamber of Economy was held at Hotel Monumenti. The meeting discussed current developments in the air transport industry, including an overview of the situation and challenges in three key areas: the airline sector, the air navigation services sector, and the airport sector.

In the context of increasing global uncertainties, including security challenges related to the war in the Middle East, the importance of timely information exchange and coordination among system stakeholders was highlighted. Such circumstances may affect operational planning, costs and the availability of capacity in air transport, which is why cooperation among all parties involved is particularly important.

The meeting provided an opportunity to align topics relevant to the further development of air transport and the efficient functioning of the system in the period ahead.
