On Wednesday, 4 March 2026, Osijek Airport hosted the Chief of the Osijek-Baranja Police Directorate, Ladislav Bece, and his Deputy, Dario Premec. During the working visit, they toured the airport area and the ongoing construction works, with a focus on sections related to police facilities and the organisation of border control operations.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange information and align operational topics, with the aim of further strengthening cooperation and maintaining a high level of security and smooth passenger processing during the reconstruction and after the works are completed.
