Reconstruction: Osijek Airport Upgrading Its Facilities and Services

Works on the reconstruction and expansion of the passenger terminal at Osijek Airport are progressing according to plan. The €14.3 million investment will deliver a larger, more modern and more functional terminal, with a higher level of comfort for passengers.

The passenger area is being expanded from approximately 2,200 to 2,800 square metres. The project includes faster passenger flow, a clear separation of Schengen / non-Schengen traffic, and improved check-in, security and boarding areas. The goal is to create conditions for new routes and strengthen regional connectivity.

The works were toured by Osijek-Baranja County Prefect Nataša Tramišak and the Mayor of Osijek, Ivan Radić, together with Osijek Airport Director Tihomir Pejin and representatives of the contractor and supervision. It was highlighted that the new terminal will offer a more modern, more comfortable and more efficient experience for passengers.

The airport remains operational during construction, with a temporary passenger area in the administration building.
