From the 5th to the 7th of November, Osijek Airport participated in one of the largest tourism fairs in London, the World Travel Market, where it had the opportunity to showcase its offerings as part of the Croatian Tourist Board.
The World Travel Market is traditionally held at the beginning of November. In addition to the Croatian Tourist Board as the main exhibitor, a total of 23 co-exhibitors presented their offers, i.e. tourist entities such as TB Split and Dalmatia County, TB Dubrovnik and Neretva County, TB Šibenik and Knin County, TB city of Zagreb, TB city of Split, TB city of Dubrovnik, Croatia Airlines, NP Plitvička jezera and others.
The WTM fair in London enables connections and deals worth over 7 billion dollars every year. It is fascinating that, according to data from the eVisitor system, Croatia recorded an increase in the number of arrivals and overnight stays of British tourists compared to the previous year.
